Post-Ride Snack Sign-Up
These kids are hungry!
We need parents to sign up to bring snacks for the athletes and coaches to have post ride. Everyone is usually hungry and needs something to tide them over until dinner, while they clean their bikes, get showered, etc.
Ideas for snacks
Cookies
Rice crispy treats (fan favorite)
Granola bars
Hot chocolate
Crepes (It’s happened. Get creative; let your inner snack artist out.)
Muffins/cupcakes
Breads, like banana!
Fruit (remember a lot of kids are in braces and can’t bite into apples unless they’re cut, etc)
Donuts
Ho-hos, ding-dongs, and any other oddly named Hostess products.
Nachos with warm cheese in a crock pot?!
Get creative but it doesn’t need to be fancy unless you want it to be.
Don’t worry about making it too healthy! Sugar and carbs are not a problem after a hard ride. :-)
