This is a summary of the information presented at the October Team Meeting

  • Team Organization and Introduction

    • Team Leadership

      • Head coach:Ty Zwick

      • Assistant Coach: Dan Goldsmith

      • Team Directors:  Lauren Kress, Ray Kress

      • PAC President: Rebecca Duff

    • Team will be broken up into groups of ~10 riders grouped by ability and skill level

      • We are open to discussion about movement within groups and will provide structured feedback should a student have a goal of moving up. There will also be some other social rides throughout the season.

      • Decisions are made upon input from all of the coaches

    • Rough Season Outline

      • Nov-Dec: Skills work and Base Building

      • Jan-Feb: General Race Training

      • Mar-May: Race Season and Specialized Race Prep

    • Ride Schedules HS GROUP

      • Mondays:  4:30 - 7:00

      • Wednesday:  4:30 - 7:00

      • Saturdays:  9 - 2 (Maybe Longer for A come March) 

      • Cycling Class (Sweat Studio): Wed practice for rainy season 

    • Jr. Devo ride schedule

      • Monday: 5-6:30

      • Wednesday: 5-6:30

    • Tentative Race Schedule:

      • TBF Granite Bay Practice Race 2/25

      • NorCal #1 - 3/2 Fort Ord

      • NorCal #2 - 4/6 Exchequer

      • NorCal #3 - 4/27 Granite Bay

      • Proper riding attire for weather (Jackets, shorts, pants, etc.)

      • Water and food.(both are mandatory)
