What are team dues used for?

Here are all the benefits that apply to every athlete:

  • Skills instruction for both HS and JD (we use two coaches that are level 2 BICP certified) Time under instruction is identical

  • Team Race Equipment:

    • Race day breakfast and lunch

    • Stationary warm up trainers

    • Awnings for shade

    • Meal preparation equipment

    • Trailer maintenance

    • Tools to provide full mechanical support at races and events

    • Bike racks to keep 30+ bikes organized in the team pit

    • Feed Zone equipment

    • Radios for race day coordination (many of our race venues have little or no cell service)

  • Pre-race season potluck

  • End of season team party

  • Team insurance

  • Team registration

  • Team Snap (schedule and coordination)

  • Team Website

Here are the two additional benefits that the High School athletes recieve:

  • Sweat studio fee (applicable to JD athletes who ride with HS)  Typically this would be $387 for 3 months. We utilize them for closer to 4 months and are only charged $50 per athlete and this is included in the registration fee.

  • Meals at team camp out (historically this has cost the team ~$1,000 (we usually end up with around 50 riders, coaches and volunteers that we provide food for 7 meals = ~$3 per meal per person). The small portion of the JD funds ($21 per athlete) that would have gone to that help us fund capital projects)
